Angelina, Wellness Director

Angelina has always been an active individual. In undergrad, she studied Human Biology to better understand how the body functions during exercise and recovery. She utilizes her knowledge of the human body in conjunction with her National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM) certification to help people meet the goals they set for themselves.

Lauren, Wellness Coordinator

Being a dancer for the majority of her life, Lauren has always been fascinated with the human body and how it moves. After struggling with countless injuries herself, she obtained her A.S in Exercise Science in an attempt to further her understanding of her own body. While doing this, she fell in love with health and wellness and became a National Academy of Sports Medicine Certified Personal Trainer to help others progress on their health journeys. Lauren strives to teach clients correct form and technique to prevent injuries and build confidence in the gym, while creating a warm and positive environment for clients to discover a love for their health.

Rebecca

A distance runner herself, Rebecca quickly learned the importance of adding strength training into her own workout routine. She is passionate about showing all ages of clientele the importance of resistance training to help prevent age-related muscle loss, keep bones strong, promote mobility and overall physical and mental health. Rebecca is looking forward to working with members on lifting weights properly and helping members feel more confident in all aspects of strength training while promoting the importance of MOVEMENT for longevity.

Matt

Matt is recent graduate of Towson University with a bachelor’s degree in Sport Management. Originally from Maryland, he dedicates most of his time to working out or playing soccer. After spending a few seasons coaching soccer at the youth level while he finished his degree, he decided to commit to personal training and helping others in his community accomplish their overall health and fitness goals.

Brett

Brett is a former college football player who still lives a very active life. Brett is NASM certified, and specializes in athlete performance training. He is also a varsity football coach. Brett has worked with athletes from ages 12 and up, specializing in strength, SAQ, and conditioning. Brett strives to create a positive outlook for all clients who work with him.

Teaching is Jo’s passion. Previous to the YMCA she owned her own fitness center for 12+ years and has coached football as well as track and field. Nick

Playing football from a young age, Nick quickly realized the importance of strength training and conditioning as an athlete. Throughout his own training, he developed a strong love of the gym and health & wellness. This drove him to become a personal trainer, so he could share his passion with others. Outside the gym, Nick is a volunteer firefighter and loves serving his community. Nick is beyond excited to help others reach their fitness goals and strives to motivate his clients to achieve greatness.
