Capital District YMCA

Your membership dues help cover the costs associated with operating our 10 branch locations, including the maintenance of our pools, wellness centers, and facilities. However, the Capital District YMCA delivers $2 million in impact across the Capital Region every year, providing $500,000 in scholarships and offering life-changing programs in the areas of youth development, safety around water, hunger relief, and more.

Your membership dues do not cover the costs associated with these programs, and we rely on generous donations from individuals and organizations in our community to make them possible. Please consider pledging a recurring gift now, to be added to your ongoing membership dues.

Youth Development

Across the Capital Region, children thrive in our camps, after-school programs, early childhood care, and leadership programs. Through scholarships, we ensure low-income youth have the tools to pursue their best possible future.
Invest in a Child

Social Responsibility

Food drives for local pantries ensure no family in the Capital District goes hungry. Basket Brigade provides meals to over 1200 families each Thanksgiving. Running Start distributes school supplies and clothing to 800+ kids in need before each school year.

Pedaling for Parkinson’s builds connections for patients and caregivers. LIVESTRONG® helps cancer survivors regain strength after treatment. Circle of Champs brings joy to 150+ families of children facing life-threatening illnesses.
