Rebecca

Early in her life, Rebecca struggled with many self-image issues, eating disorders and compulsive exercise disorders. These disorders led to her being overweight with a burnt-out metabolism in her early adult years. This made weight loss and feeling good very difficult. By returning to a yoga practice her mother instilled in her she was able to transform her health. After obtaining her 200-hour Yoga teaching certification in 2013 she was inspired to continue her knowledge and obtain many more certifications so she could help others transform their lives as well. She especially enjoys working with the senior population, people with physical limitations and people just beginning their journey into the fitness world.

Kay headshot

Kay

As a lifelong athlete and high school and college sprinter/jumper, Kay always enjoyed the feeling of vigorous exercise and the accompanying pride that came with it. In her 20's she struggled to stay consistent with exercise and fell into an unhealthy lifestyle, further perpetuating the cycle of anxiety and depression that had taken over. After undergoing drastic changes in her early 30's to support mental/physiological health, Kay began a consistent routine of running and lifting that has grown more challenging and rewarding over time. She credits healthy eating and regular exercise as preventative measures to cope with anxiety as well as the stresses of life and parenthood, including raising a special needs child. She believes that she is in the best shape of her life in her early 40's as a competitive distance runner.
